What Happened in Vegas Is Coming Home to Clients

Nazz recently returned from Las Vegas feeling energized, inspired, and excited to bring fresh ideas back to clients at Pillar Wealth Partners!

He was proud to qualify for the Elite Advisor Summit, which brings together top advisors from the Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Carolina offices. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with talented peers, exchange ideas, and spend time focused on something that matters deeply to him: continuing to grow as an advisor so he can better serve the people who trust Pillar with their financial futures.

The summit featured three main speakers: Deirdre Van Nest, Matthew Jarvis, and Larry Spring. Deirdre focused on how advisors can be better and more efficient communicators with their clients, while Matt focused on how to deliver massive value in every client interaction. Larry was gracious enough to take part in a fireside chat with the group, offering an intimate look at how he built such a successful practice. One thing all three agreed on was the importance of the financial planner’s role and just how large an impact advisors can have on people’s lives, a responsibility Nazz doesn’t take lightly. He came home more motivated than ever to put these lessons to use.

The conversations between sessions were just as valuable. Spending time with other dedicated advisors creates opportunities to share perspectives, discuss challenges, and learn from one another’s experiences. There is always room to improve, and being surrounded by people who share that mindset is motivating.

Of course, the trip also included some fun, and in true Vegas fashion, it revolved around a bet!

In the accompanying photo, you’ll see Nazz alongside Dustin Corrente, the managing director who puts on the event, both wearing Matthew Stafford jerseys. As a lifelong Rams fan, Nazz bet Dustin (a lifelong Giants fan) that the Rams would beat the Giants by twice the Vegas odds at SoFi Stadium in Week 2. Thankfully, they did just that (possibly because Nazz was in attendance!), and Dustin was a man of his word, honoring the bet on day one of the conference. He was a great sport, and we can all agree the jersey suits him!

A big thank-you to Dustin and everyone who helped make the summit such a memorable experience. Nazz is grateful to have qualified, enjoyed the chance to learn and connect, and returned with renewed enthusiasm for the work the Pillar team does every day.

He looks forward to building on what he learned as he continues helping the individuals and families Pillar serves move toward their goals.
