Our Co-Founder Charlotte Huger Was Featured in Voyage Virginia!
We're excited to share that our co-founder, Charlotte Huger, was recently featured in Voyage Virginia, a magazine that highlights the people and small businesses behind Virginia's local community.
In the interview, Charlotte talks about how Pillar Wealth Partners came to be. It really started back in 2019, when she met Nazz. By 2020, the two were working side by side as partners, and over the next five years they figured out what kind of advisors they wanted to be, and what they thought wasn't working in traditional wealth management. The big one? Too many people felt like just a number to their advisor.
So in 2025, they set out to build something different. Pillar was founded on a simple idea: the plan should be built around the client first, and the products second.
Charlotte also opens up about the road to get here, which wasn't always smooth. She started her career in the middle of COVID, learning to build trust with clients she'd never met in person. She spent a couple of years working remotely from New York City before moving back. And she shares what it's been like being a millennial founder in an industry where most advisors are decades into their careers (spoiler: she sees it as an advantage).
