Aloha, APEX! A Week of Growth, Gratitude, and Great Company in Hawaii

In July, Nazz had the incredible opportunity to attend Prudential’s APEX Conference, an exclusive event for top advisors across the country—this year held in stunning Hawaii.

APEX is more than just a recognition of professional achievement; it’s a chance to connect with others at the top of their game, share ideas, and get inspired. One of the highlights of the week? Hearing from the legendary Michael Phelps as the keynote speaker. As someone Nazz has looked up to for years—not just for his Olympic achievements but for his openness around mental health—his message about discipline, resilience, and purpose hit home in a powerful way. Nazz even got to ask him about losing in a race to Shaq… That sure got a chuckle out of him! 

Another personal highlight? Sleeping through the night! That’s something Nazz haven’t enjoyed since the birth of his son earlier this year. Any new parent will understand just how much of a luxury that was. 

Whether it was the morning workouts, meaningful conversations with peers, or simply soaking in the sun, the experience left Nazz feeling recharged and reenergized. It reminded him of why we do what we do at Pillar Wealth Partners—to help our clients plan with clarity, live intentionally, and enjoy the moments that matter most.
