Nazz Named to Alexandria's 40 Under 40

Nazz grew up in Alexandria, went to UVA, and came back. Not a dramatic arc: just someone who knew where he wanted to be. Now the city is taking notice.

This year, Nazz was named to the Alexandria 40 Under 40, a recognition given to young residents making a real impact in the city through business, service, or civic life.

When Nazz decided to start a business after UVA, he didn't look elsewhere. Alexandria was the obvious choice: he knew the city, understood the community, and saw a real opportunity within it.

Starting a business in Northern Virginia is no small thing. The market is competitive, the costs are high, and proximity to D.C. means you're always competing with bigger players for attention and talent. Nazz built anyway.

The Recognition

The 40 Under 40 is a straightforward acknowledgment: here are people under 40 doing work worth paying attention to. For Nazz, it's recognition rooted right where he started: the city he grew up in, and chose to build in.

He's in his early career by most measures. There's a lot of road ahead!
